Activities at CERN

Operational aspects of I-LHC (Ions in the Large Hadron Collider)
Member of the Super Proton Synchrotron operations team
I take part in the Live from CERN Webcast project
Linkman between the Accelerators and Beams Department and the Press and Visits service, I'm also one of the "experts" you can ask questions to via the Ask-an-expert site
I give the accelerator physics course to physics engineering students at the Service de Métrologie Nucléaire of the Université Libre de Bruxelles

Non professional activities

I give ski lessons as a benevolent instructor in the CERN Ski Club ; sometimes I also take friends for a ski ride
Playing guitar (not very well, but very loud) in rock bands . I also indulge into electronic music .
Scuba diving, Snorkeling, underwater photography and video
My favourite pastime is watching the sunset on a sandy beach and listening to Couleur 3
